*How much is it to enter the New England Rally?
The cost for entry in the 2009 New England Rally is $600.00 for 2 people in 1 car or on 2 motorcycles.

*How many teams can enter the 2009 the New England Rally?
The 2009 New England Rally is limited to 30 teams/

*What is covered in my $600.00 entry fee?
The $600.00 entry fee covers the following for 2 people:
Accommodations at a luxury hotel on our overnight
Dinner on our overnight
Cost of admission for you and your co-driver at our chosen event
Food and entertainment at the ending event
A rally pack that you will receive at each checkpoint
$100.00 from each entry will be set aside. 75% will be donated to the Boy's and Girls Clubs. 25% will be given to the team that forms the best poker hand in exchange for advertising for the New England Rally for 1 year.

*When do I have to have my payment in by?
Your entry must be paid in full absolutely no later than May 31st 2009. This is 60 days before the rally.

*Can I have passengers that are under 18?
No. For a number of reasons all participants must be at least 18  years of age.

*Can I have more people in my car than just a driver and co-driver?
Absolutely! Each passenger is considered a co-driver and for an additional $250.00 you can bring as many people as  your car is equipped to carry. They will share the same room as you.

*I would like to enter as a motorcycle team. Is that possible?
Yes. Motorcycle teams must consist of 2 bikes and they must ride together and arrive at checkpoints together. If you would like to have more than 2 bikes in your team they will be considered additional passengers.

*I'm entering as a motorcycle team. Can we have passengers on our bikes?
You're crazy, but yes. As long as you have a partner to ride along side of you, you will be able to bring a passenger. Use the additional passenger link and make sure you put both names of your team members in the notes so your passengers can be added to your team listing.

*Is the New England rally a time/distance rally? How crucial is the time factor in the rally?
No. The New England Rally is a poker style road rally where teams travel to different checkpoints and draw a card in hopes of forming the best poker hand at the end of the rally

Time is not a factor at all. You will be given a realistic time frame to arrive at each checkpoint by driving the speed limit.
Again, this is NOT a race.
We do ask that you travel promptly and directly to each checkpoint though, we will have people there waiting for you to arrive.

*What are the details on the advertising position? Are there cash prizes??
There are NO cash prizes!  The poker hand is being played strictly as a friendly poker game for entertainment purposes and bragging rights only.

*If you get through the ENTIRE run with ZERO tickets AND have the best poker hand you will be rewarded with a FREE entry in the next year's run*

*What happens if I miss a checkpoint?
If you miss a checkpoint you are welcome to continue with the event, but you will not get a card for that checkpoint. This means that it is in your best interest to be prepared for anything you may come up against. You will still have a chance at the winning poker hand, but if you miss more than 2 checkpoints you will not have enough cards to form the best poker hand.

*What happens if I cancel after I've paid my entry?
If you have your entry paid in full and you cancel your entry before the 60 day deadline your entry will be refunded less the $200.00 non refundable deposit.

If you cancel after the 60 day deadline, but still 30 days before the rally you will receive your $100.00 towards the advertising/donation budget back.

If you cancel any time 30 days or less before the rally you will NOT be entitled to a refund of any kind.
